"A Sneeze In Time" is an episode as well as the series finale episode of The 7D, premiered on November 5, 2016 with "A Royal Pain in the Castle" on Disney XD.[2] Mr. Warburton had previously announced that the series will end in September 2016;[3] currently, however, it was not scheduled to premiere in that month.[4] Additionally, Tom Ruegger confirmed that Season 2 consists of twenty half-hour episodes[5] instead of the planned 39 half-hour episodes originally announced by Shea Fontana.[6] The finale had been pushed to October 2016;[7] however, it was confirmed by Disney XD on its October 2016 programming highlights that the episode had been removed from the schedule, moving it to November.

It is the eighty-seventh segment in the series.

While Grumpy is enjoying some spicy cheese, he gives Sneezy a chance to smell it. But because he is allergic to the spice, it makes him make a sneeze that opens a portal that they all fall through. It brings them all one week into the future. Once they learn that the Glooms had taken over Jollywood via turning some geese evil, the 7D use the cheese to go back. This time they end up in a prehistoric era with alternate versions of themselves and the Glooms. After their second try to get home, they miss their goal by one millennium. There, a robotic Doc shows the proper space of Grumpy's cheese for Sneezy to sniff to achieve their goal. When they finally get to their own time, Dopey uses his Dr. Dolittle talents to make Hildy's potential henchmen attack her. the 7d then meet queen delight full who is back to normal and she tells them that its unicycle wednsday she then goes to the castle for a cellerbation happy declares that jollywood is back to normal and grumpy wants it to stay like this for a nice long time the episode cuts back to the future where the 7 robots and princess d are enjoying some popsicles and riding on unicycles the episode ends with the 7 robots saying ''high future ho!''

Continuity[]

Trivia[]

  • This is the series finale.
    • Even though this is the final episode of the entire show, it somehow ended just like how the show's regular episodes would end.
  • Sleepy's robot counterpart software has a very active sleep-mode function.
  • Doc's robot counterpart has a plethora of artificial intelligence.
  • In Disney Channel Asia, this episode was played before "A Royal Pain in the Castle".
  • It is revealed in this episode that the 7D, Queen Delightful, and the Glooms have ancestral and futuristic counterparts.

Cultural References[]

  • The title "A Sneeze in Time" may be a pun on the book title A Stitch in Time.
  • The idea of the 7D jumping a week into the future, where their enemies (the Glooms) rule the kingdom, is similar to the Powerpuff Girls episode "Speed Demon" where the heroes jump 50 years into the future and find out that their enemy (HIM) took over their town.
  • Sneezy is heard singing his versions of "On Top of Old Smokey" and "Shortnin' Bread" when he's about to sneeze to time travel.
  • Princess Dee's hairstyle resembles Star Wars character Princess Leia's.
    • Also, Princess Dee refers to the sev-androids that their her only hope. This also references Princess Leia's line, "Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope", in Star Wars: Episode IV -- A New Hope.
  • The futuristic setting of Jollywood strongly resembles Orbit City, the setting for the classic animated show The Jetsons.

Goofs[]

  • Possible: Because robots neither do not breath, speak using its mouth, eat, nor have human emotions, then:
    • Dopey's robot counterpart should not be able to whistle.
    • Sneezy's robot counterpart should never sneeze.
    • Grumpy's robot counterpart should not have wanted it's original counterpart's spicy cheese.
    • Sleepy's robot counterpart should have never snore while sleeping.
      • It is possible one added those features to their respective couterparts for comedic purposes.
