Cultural References[]
- Most songs in this episode are parodies of real-life songs. They include:
- "Off the Wall Lyrics" - "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne
- "The Greatest Gift of All" - "The Greatest Love of All" by George Benson (and a cover by Whitney Houston)

- "You Gotta Be Squiddin' Me" - "You Gotta Be Kidding Me" by The Trillions
- "Whoopty Doopty Birthday To You" - "Birthday" by The Beatles
- The line "I got frosting on my fingas!" also references the end of another Beatles song, "Helter Skelter", when Ringo Starr belted out the line, "I got blisters on me fingers!"
- Coincidentally, both songs appeared on the 1968 album "The Beatles", also known as "The White Album".
- The line "I got frosting on my fingas!" also references the end of another Beatles song, "Helter Skelter", when Ringo Starr belted out the line, "I got blisters on me fingers!"
- The minor character Rumpelstiltskin is a parody of the book of the same name.
- Grumpy's line "Hey, where's the shrimp sauce?" is a reference to the phrase, "Hey, where's the cream filling?" from the commercials for Hostess.
