"Ghost Girl"[1] is a featured song in the episode "Buckets". It's split into three parts and a reprise.[1][3][4][5] All three parts and the reprise are sung by Ghost Girl: the first time when she emerges from her portrait after being seen by Grumpy and its reprise when her voice is overheard by the 6D and Lord Starchbottom, the second time she meets Grumpy in the kitchen, and the third time when she contributes haunting lyrics to a soothing lullaby sung by an unsuspecting Happy.
Lyrics[]
Part 1[]
Oh where, oh where
Could my Mopsy be?
Part 1 reprise[]
Mopsy, Mopsy, where are you?
Part 2[]
I like your flower hat
I like your face as well
I'm happy that you're here
'Cause I think you're really swell
Baliba-doop-be-doop
Part 3[]
Happy: Let pretty pictures fill your head
Ghost Girl: Like gargoyles lurking beneath your bed
Happy: See peaceful visions in your sleep
Ghost Girl: Like howling red-eyed zombie sheep
Happy: You drift away to the land of dreams
Ghost Girl: Where nobody can hear your screams
Trivia[]
- The line "Where nobody can hear your screams" is based on the popular tagline "In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream" used for the 1979 movie Alien.
