Goblins, as they appeared in "The Enchanted Shoes"
| Character Information|
|Nickname(s)||Fiendish friends (by Hildy)|
|Enemies||Grumpy, Cobby, the Glooms (at the end)|
Goblins are a race of creatures that first appeared in "The Enchanted Shoes". They appeared to be aligned with the Glooms as they all have accepted their invitations to Hildy's party—that is until they realize their true intentions. The goblins also have an unique language—the word "gob" is the only one they speak.
Goblins vary in appearance, age, and clothing, though they can either gray or light blue skin; and they all have red noses and tall, pointy ears.
In the show
In "The Enchanted Shoes", Hildy and Grim schemed up another plan: disguising themselves as cobblers to sell them enchanted shoes to run everyone out of Jollywood nonstop. After they seize Queen Delightful's abandoned castle, Hildy crowns herself "queen" and uses her Crystal Ball to send out invitations for her party to the goblins. What the goblins didn't know is that the Glooms are going to rule over them and force them to work at The 7D's jewel mine. By that time, Grumpy and his friend Cobby—the only other two people not wearing the shoes—are aware of the Glooms' plan. While scores of goblins are on their way to the castle through the Jollywood village, two of them drop by Cobby's shoe shop, and Grumpy and Cobby have to disguise themselves as goblins. The dwarfs are able to send out a message that fish sticks are the preferred present—which the goblins love and Hildy hates.
At the party, Cobby and Grumpy went in undetected as goblins and give the Glooms each a pair of shoes—also enchanted. They become exhausted after a lot of running, and they call off the spell, saving the people of Jollywood. Grumpy and Cobby then stage a revolt among the goblins after Hildy declares that she hates fish sticks after opening boxes filled with them, and the fact that the Glooms are going to use the goblins for hard labor.
