The Old Woman is a minor character, but she is the main protagonist of the story of needing a new shoe house. She asks Queen Delightful for help, who also asks Lord Starchbottom and the 7D to build a new shoe home for her, as shown in New Shoe. In her first two appearances, she speaks with what it sounds like a Cockney accent, but it later dropped by her other appearance in Miss Fortune Teller.
Personality[]
The Old Woman is a hard working mother who cared for her children. However, having too many children to look out for is a burden for her, so the Queen invited her to be pampered for a day.
In the series[]
In New Shoe, the Old Woman made a request to Delightful for construction of a new home for her, because her previous dwelling had to be returned to a giant. While the Queen instructs Starchy and the dwarfs to build her new home and while Grumpy supervises Eenie and the kids, she treats the Old Woman to a makeover at the Jollywood Spa.
Before "New Shoe", the Old Woman and her children first appeared in a very brief scene in "The Fairest in the Land" listening to the Jolly Awards broadcast. Also, in "Free Teensy", her home is among those damaged by the growing Jolly-Go-Jumbo fish at the end of the episode. She reappeared in the Season 2 episode "Miss Fortune Teller" when she meets a fortune teller that she can't find a good man because of her numerous of kids.
Physical appearance[]
Before her makeover, the Old Woman wears a pink dress and a purple apron with gray fabric patches, and wrinkles on her face. She has untidy brown hair. Post-makeover, she is more attractive, with large, wavy blonde hair, and wearing a blue dress and white apron, with the wrinkles on her face gone. In "Miss Fortune Teller", however, she reverted back to her original appearance.
